As part of the ongoing asset management strategy at 1 Finsbury Square, EC2, Catella APAM (“APAM”) is undertaking a comprehensive refurbishment of c. 20,000 sq ft over the 4th, 5th and 7th floors, which is being vacated by Verisk Analytics Inc. APAM has appointed joint agents Knight Frank and Squarebrook to market the Grade A office accommodation.
The works include new end-of-journey facilities, enhancements to the reception and a new creative Cat A finish on the office floors. One of these floors is being delivered on a fully fitted basis to react to the changing trends emerging in the office market post COVID. The works are due to complete in Q3 2021, and we hope to attract a wide range of potential tenants being so close to a Crossrail Station.
Alex Hardwick, senior asset manager at APAM, commented, ‘‘The refurbishment of these floors will create space fit for the future of working. The vast natural light and outlook over green space will enable employees to enjoy being back in the office whilst employing their skills.’
Commenting on the instruction Knight Frank’s Rob Macnab said, ‘We have had the pleasure of working with APAM and their design teams on 1 Finsbury Square and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to work with them delivering new best-in-class office accommodation. We have curated a range of solutions for a potential occupier and have adapted the finishes to respond to current requirements.’
Rupert Perkins from Squarebrook added, ‘In the post COVID market, tenants are demanding the flexibility, value and quality that can be found at 1 Finsbury Square.’
