Catella APAM (“APAM”), the specialist UK real estate asset manager opened up the doors of its new office at 84 Grosvenor Street, London, W1, with motivational speaker and British adventurer, James Ketchell, the only man to have completed the ‘ultimate marathon’ – rowing across the Atlantic, cycling 18,000 miles around the world and then climbing Everest. James spoke on the theme of turning challenge into opportunity.
Much like James on his conquests, APAM is moving onwards and upwards. With £2B assets under management, the team have navigated through the pandemic and shown real resilience in a difficult time for all. The business has grown to 55 people, with 16 new recruits in 2020 and 4 so far in 2021. The move to a new office was a necessity and provides the team with an exciting new environment as well as a base to collaborate.
Simon Cooke, Director/Shareholder at APAM said: “Combining our office opening with APAM’s latest instalment of the WorkWell speaker series, featuring British adventurer James Ketchell, was the ideal opportunity to gather people together to be inspired to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead. It also allowed us to reflect on all that has been achieved over the last 18 months, where the team have embraced the headwinds full on and overcome many challenges. We are looking forward to hosting many more WorkWell events at 84 Grosvenor Street, please drop by to visit APAM’s very own base camp!”
