APAM is a proud supporter of Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ), the company provides funding to support the charity with its commitment to the protection of wildlife and the sustainable use of natural resources in the Lower Zambezi in Zambia. As part of our staff development, we understand the importance of encouraging a greater understanding of global sustainability and the environmental impact of our approach. Following the success of last year’s event, CLZ has recently hosted their annual sports event ‘Rubatano Day’. This year, 18 football teams, 12 netball teams and hundreds of spectators attended!

APAM supports a diverse range of company and employee-led initiatives, to help charitable organisations and causes all over the world, both financially and in a practical way. We fund involvement in large property events, supporting organisations such as LandAid, CRASH and CRISIS, all in support of the homeless, and encourage employees to participate in personal fundraising activities by offering generous contributions to boost their fundraising efforts. Beneficiaries include Save the Children, Cancer Research, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Samaritans. We recently took part in ‘#AMFAM’s Meal for a Meal day’, supporting the Akshaya Patra Foundation, an organisation that strives to tackle the issues of classroom hunger and educational access in India by providing freshly prepared nutritious school meals every day. By simply ordering lunch to the office each employee provided a whole year of lunches to a child!
In addition, we proudly support a number of our clients’ charitable programmes as we understand that working together to promote engagement will have a greater impact. For example, we continue to support Patron’s principal partner ‘The Royal Marines’ and have donated to their ongoing projects in Nepal which focus on improving education by refurbishing and constructing new schools.
