Catella APAM (“APAM”), a specialist UK real estate asset and investment manager with almost £2bn of assets under management, has further strengthened its investment team by appointing Professor Andrew Baum to its Investment Committee. Baum will also contribute to the APAM investment research and strategy process for UK real estate.
Professor Andrew Baum is a leading academic who is currently Professor of Practice at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, where he leads the Future of Real Estate Initiative, and is also Emeritus Professor at the Henley Business School, University of Reading. Between 2009 and 2014 he was Honorary Professor of Real Estate Investment at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of St John’s College.
Combining his academic life with business. Professor Baum has worked with leading institutional investors formulating investment strategy over the last 25 years. He is currently Chairman of Newcore Capital Management and adviser to other property organisations.
