APAM hires CBRE GI's Patrick Freestone to join investment team

Patrick Freestone has joined APAM as senior investment manager as the company continues to expand its existing portfolio of £1.3bn of assets under management.
Freestone joins APAM from CBRE Global Investors where he was a senior associate and worked on the £1.5bn CBRE UK Property PAIF with responsibility for investment transactions, portfolio management and asset management.
He has a wealth of experience having also spent time at the indirect side of the business ‘CBRE Global Investment Partners’ where he was responsible for the oversight of a number of programmatic joint ventures, and as an Assistant Fund Manager within the Separate Accounts Group. During his time at CBRE GI, Patrick has been responsible for over £500m of direct and indirect transactions.
APAM provides an ‘end to end’ service for all clients to deliver their investment strategy with specialists in real estate investment, asset management, property management, financing, accounting and client reporting. APAM has successfully transitioned to three key business streams maintaining a balance across distressed bank workouts, identifying high return opportunities for Private Equity Clients and co investing in prime assets alongside global high net worth individuals and institutions.
