In order to continue to support APAM’s charitable partners during this time we have been thinking of fun, virtual ways to fundraise. Last Thursday we hosted a ‘Virtual Bingo Call’ for the team. Each team member donated money to join the call and we raised over £1000 in one evening for one of our charitable partners, ‘Shooting Star Children’s Hospices’.
‘Shooting Star’ is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement, with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
Karen Sugarman MBE, Executive Vice-President, recently spoke at one of our ‘Workwell Programme Talks’ where she highlighted the amazing work Shooting Star does and how she came to be a part of this incredible charity.
APAM champions a diverse range of charity partners from all over the world. Each year we designate a specific budget for charitable contributions and strive to make real and positive impacts through our support.
