Bankfoot APAM, a UK-based Development Management company, established by Catella APAM (“APAM”) and Bankfoot Developments, has been appointed on four new major development schemes nationwide since the UK was placed on lockdown measures by the Government.
The development schemes include a comprehensive office refurbishment and extension scheme in Bristol, an out-of-town retail scheme in Scotland and a new-build, residential-led scheme in Oxford – taking the current value of development under the management of Bankfoot APAM to just over £420M.
Bankfoot APAM, which provides specialist Development Management and Project Management services, operates as an integrated and complementary service alongside the well-established Investment, Asset Management, Property Management and Corporate Services offered by APAM. This combined end-to-end service offer will ensure the company is exceptionally well placed to capitalise in an uncertain market, where performance and delivery are vital to successful business plans.
The experienced and dynamic core team boast an impressive combined delivery track record of successful, award-winning projects throughout the UK. Collectively, the business has advised on over £1B of commercial development, refurbishment, and value-add strategies on over 50 assets and across all real estate sectors.
Chris Moore, Managing Director at Bankfoot APAM, says: “The synergy between the two shareholders is a very exciting prospect and will be a major benefit to our ability to deliver successful buildings and places throughout the UK. We are dedicated to developing long-lasting relationships as the business grows and will continue this through our commitment to delivering risk-managed, profitable, and award-winning developments for our clients across the wide and varied real estate sectors.”
William Powell, Managing Director at APAM, says: “The need for high-quality development and project management teams is fundamental to repurposing and repositioning real estate – as this crisis accelerates the speed of change in the UK market.”
