Patron Capital and APAM, the specialist UK real estate asset and investment manager, has appointed Demand Logic to provide innovative building performance analytics across its holdings at Arlington Business Park, Reading.

The EG award winning market-leading technology enables real-time building analysis providing actionable intelligence to improve wellbeing, prioritise maintenance and save energy.

Arlington Business Park is an award winning office park in the Thames Valley comprising 360,000 sq ft of office accommodation across 11 buildings. Patron Capital and their JV partner APAM have undertaken a comprehensive repositioning of the Park since 2015 through the introduction of a new café and gym amenity centre; floating meeting room; new garden seating areas and a number of best in class building refurbishments and upgrades.

The new partnership aims to provide direct insight to the buildings’ performance across the Park; supporting a reduction in energy usage, increased maintenance effectiveness and comfort for the tenants and occupants. The ability for APAM as well as Workman, property managers at ABP, to be able to see the performance of a range of properties in one individual view is invaluable in terms of resource management and prioritisation.

Ben Dickins, Asset Manager, APAM said: “The introduction of Demand Logic at Arlington Business Park is an exciting progression of our continued investment into the business park. The efficiencies it helps generate will form a key part of the service we provide to our tenants by maintaining high levels of property performance and driving environmental credentials. It will be fully integrated into our newly launched wellbeing program along with a number of other innovative tech based initiatives.”

William Hulls, Head of Strategic Partnerships, Demand Logic commented: “Being able to partner with organisations such as patron Capital and APAM is fantastic, the innovative approach which they have will help challenge us to continually develop over the course of the contract. We are excited to be involved at Arlington Business Park and providing the tenants and building users with a truly innovative, efficient, comfortable and optimised work environment.”
