Catella APAM (“APAM”), the specialist UK real estate asset and investment manager, is delighted that Six by Nico (“Six”), has chosen 60 Spring Gardens as its first restaurant site in England alongside Black Sheep Coffee.
Six is a welcome addition to the building and with space for 66 diners, they will create 30 new jobs as they expand their restaurant portfolio to Manchester. Scottish-Italian chef Nico Simeone and his team will reinvent the restaurant menu every six weeks bringing an exciting dining experience to the area and supporting the case for continued growth amongst strong regional independent operators with a good quality product.
Nico states: “We have been overwhelmed by the success and the appeal of our first Six by Nico sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, and we couldn’t be more delighted about bringing a completely new offering and dining experience to the people of Manchester”.
Pete Owen, from APAM, comments – “Six is an exciting young independent restaurant and we are delighted to have secured them to 60 Spring Gardens. Based in the city centre this new venture is a great addition to the Manchester dining scene. There was a lot of interest for this space but Six’s energy and enthusiasm shone through. We wish them every success.”
APAM was advised by Hynes Illingworth and Sixteen Real Estate.
