Catella APAM Completed 10-Year Lease to TJ Hughes at The Mander Centre, Wolverhampton

Catella APAM is delighted to announce the successful completion of a 10-year lease agreement with TJ Hughes at The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton. The retailer will occupy the former Wilko unit, a prime location within the centre, spanning approximately 19,000 sq. ft. This marks the return of TJ Hughes to The Mander Centre after almost a decade, following the closure of their previous store at the centre.

The new TJ Hughes store opened its doors to customers today, Thursday, 28th October 2024, offering a wide range of products, from home goods and electricals to fashion and beauty. This lease further strengthens the retail offering at The Mander Centre, which continues to be a key destination for shoppers in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area.

Harry Wilce, Asset Manager at Catella APAM, said: “We are incredibly pleased with the rapid turnaround of this transaction. From agreeing terms in early October to completing the lease and opening the store for trade just weeks later, this swift process demonstrates the strong demand for prime retail space at The Mander Centre and the dedication of all parties involved in bringing this to fruition.”

Richard Scharenguivel, Centre Manager at The Mander Centre, added: “We are thrilled to welcome TJ Hughes back to The Mander Centre after almost 10 years. Their return is a testament to the ongoing appeal of the centre, and we are excited to see them thrive in this new location.”

The Mander Centre, which has undergone several recent upgrades, remains one of Wolverhampton’s leading shopping destinations, offering a diverse mix of retail, food, and leisure options.

Joint agents Jackson Criss and Jameison Mills acted on behalf of Catella APAM in the letting.
